What’s in store for you inWind, Segment 4: Global Winds, you might ask? Well, Brian, Cierra and Samantha have been looking at winds on a small scale. Now, it’s time to look at winds on a very large scale—that of the earth. Why doesn’t the hot air at the equator simply move to the earth’s poles? The simple reason: Because the earth rotates. When things spin, what used to be simple gets a bit complicated, as we’ll see.
